This form of link first checks the user’s IP address. If the user is in one of our libraries, they will be sent through to the library’s in-house profile. If the user is not in one of our libraries, the system will prompt for barcode, look the user up in Evergreen and send him or her to the right profile based on residency. These profiles are used for statistics.
