E-Mail Security Guidelines

All users should observe the following security guidelines:

  • Passwords should be longer than five characters, should include a change of case and numbers or punctuation as well as letters.
  • Passwords should not be a word in the dictionary, a personal name, a pet name, or any of the above with the addition of a single letter or number.
  • Passwords should not be related to your name, your login name, your phone number, date of birth, etc.
  • Passwords should not be written down or given out to anyone. Passwords should be changed if you feel your password might no longer be secure.
  • If a password is forgotten, please report this to NOBLE. We will issue a new password for the account, which should be immediately changed.
  • Personal accounts should be checked frequently, and anything unusual should be reported to NOBLE.
