Setting Workstation Toolbars

The toolbar at the top of the staff client provides quick access to common staff client functions. There is no toolbar selected by default when you register a workstation, so you should select one and set it as the default.

We currently have default NOBLE toolbars for Circulation, Cataloging, Acquisitions and Serials, but soon after we come up, local administrators will be able to add customized toolbars for their library as a whole, or for specific workstations or users.

Setting the Toolbar:
You can select a toolbar for your workstation.

Go to Admin –> Workstation Administration –> Toolbars –> Current.

Under Current, you will see the available toolbars: circ, cat, acq and ser. Click on the one you want.

You then need to go back to Admin –> Workstation Administration –> Toolbars and click on Set Workstation Default to Current.
(If you forget this step, the toolbar is only set for the current session, and won’t be there the next time you log in.)
