Use ISBNs to Copy NOBLE collections

When OverDrive Advantage libraries turn on the Curation option, they can add, remove, edit and manage their own local collections like Staff Picks, titles related to programs, etc.  This is a great feature, but it also means that you don’t inherit any collections that NOBLE adds for holidays, seasons, etc.

One way to get the new NOBLE collections is to just turn curation off and on again, which will reset your OverDrive collections to copies of the NOBLE ones.  However, this loses your local collections unless you remember to save them as drafts first.

Here’s an alternative — if I share spreadsheets of each collection as I add them, you can make your own copy by searching the ISBNs and then modifying the collection if you’d like.  You can also search the ISBNs in purchasing mode, in case you want to add copies of the most popular.

Note that some titles don’t have ISBNs, and in a small number of cases, the ISBN in the list won’t bring up the record (we’re looking into that!)
