Creating Blanket Invoices and Credit Memos

You can create a blanket invoice for purchases that are not attached to a purchase order.

  1. Click Acquisitions / Create invoice.
  2. Enter the invoice information in the top half of the screen. You are only required to enter the invoice number, the Provider, and the Shipper. All the other fields are optional. The system fills in the Invoice Date.
  3. Click Add Charge to add a line to the invoice. You may also add lines for shipping, tax, and other fees in this manner.
  4. Select a charge type from the drop down menu.
  5. Select a fund from the drop down menu.
  6. Enter a Title/Description of the resource.
  7. Enter the amount that you were billed.
  8. Enter the amount that you paid.
  9. Click “Save and Close” to save and finish the invoice.

For a Credit Memo, follow the same steps as above. The amounts you enter would be negative amounts.
