This might be a useful method when you have large numbers of items attached to a record, and want to delete many copies without scanning the items individually.  For example, you could use this method if you wanted to delete all but one or two copies of a book that&#8217;s no longer on your summer reading list, no longer in use by a book group, etc.  It&#8217;s also useful for projects where you may be deleting some copies and moving or editing others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 1:<\/strong><br \/>\nDo a search in the catalog and select the record.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2:<\/strong><br \/>\nUnder <strong>Actions for This Record<\/strong>, select <strong>Holdings Maintenance<\/strong>.  (Note: Be sure that the options <strong>Show Volumes<\/strong> and <strong>Show Items<\/strong> are checked.  If they are not, check them and click <strong>Refresh<\/strong>.
