NOBLE offers web hosting services to our member libraries as an added-cost, optional service. The library is responsible for designing its own web site, and providing NOBLE with all files ready to be mounted on NOBLE’s Web Server. All files must be in conformance with current HTML standards, and should conform to accepted HTML standards for accessibility, including the use of the ALT attribute for all graphics files.
The library may use any HTML-editing or conversion program to create the files. Files should be previewed in one or more browser before submission. Files will be sent to the server via FTP, and the library may add files and replace files with edited versions at any time.
Costs:
Libraries will pay an initial setup charge of $375, plus an annual maintenance charge of $500 for up to 500MB of storage space. Additional storage space can be purchased in increments of 500MB for an additional $25 per month.
