The Non-fiction Collection
The adult non-fiction collection contains more than 35,000 books on computers, psychology, philosophy, religion, law, languages, literature, travel, history, science, mathematics, cooking, health, medicine, cars, home repair, art, architecture, sports, antiques, music, business, gardening, social issues, and much, much, more.
Non-fiction is shelved on the second floor numerically according to the Dewey Decimal System. The newest non-fiction acquisitions are shelved in a special area across from the Circulation Desk on the main floor. In the catalog they have the word "NEW" before the call number. All adult non-fiction can be checked out for three weeks.
