The library carries current subscriptions to numerous local and national newspapers, including Banker & Tradesman, Barron's, the Boston Business Journal, the Boston Herald, the Boston Globe, the Boston Phoenix, Mass. High Tech, the New York Times, USA Today, the Wakefield Daily Item, the Wakefield Observer, the Wakefield edition of the Reading Chronicle, and the Wall Street Journal.

Current issues of newspapers are shelved on the main floor in the gold magazine and newspaper room (shown below). Older issues of some newspapers are kept in storage - a librarian can get them for you. Still other back issues are on microfilm.
