The Fiction collection is located on the Lower Level across from the stairs to the Main Street Lobby and contains both the Large Print Fiction collection and the Short Story collection.

Consisting of over 16,000 volumes, both classic and contemporary authors in the Fiction collection create an array of choices for both the casual reader and the student searching for reading list titles in a variety of genres including General Fiction, Fantasy, Science Fiction, Mystery, Horror, Romance, and Westerns.

The fiction alcove, above, is adjacent to the fiction collection and provides a comfortable space to curl up with a book. The painting in the alcove is of Lucius Morris Beebe and his Saint Bernard dog, T-Bone Towser.
