The college and career collection is aimed at students (and their families) choosing schools and job seekers of all ages. The reference collection includes 150 volumes covering undergraduate and graduate schools, private secondary schools, financial aid, scholarships and loans, study abroad, job banks, encyclopedias of careers, executive recruiters, and corporate internships.
We also have a circulating collection of almost 900 books on job hunting, resume writing, cover letters, career changing, test preparation, financial aid, college profiles, and much more.
On our network of public computers the following computer programs are available to help you in your college or career search:
PETERSON'S COLLEGES AND FINANCIAL AID - This source provides information on over 3,000 colleges and helps you choose which ones are right for you based on the criteria you choose. You can also plan how to pay for college using the financial aid program to analyze your family's financial situation, estimate costs, and find out whether you are eligible for scholarships or loans. In addition, you should check out the Library's College and Career Collection, located in the Magazine and Newspaper Room for a large collection of college and financial aid reference books, college catalogs, and financial aid forms.

The college and career books are shelved in the large gold reading room on the main floor, where you will also find magazines and newspapers. Reference materials are shelved with the rest of the reference collection on the main floor near the Reference Desk.
