Loan Periods

Most books, audiotapes and all compact discs circulate for three weeks.

The following items are in heavy demand and circulate for seven days only:

• All rental books (Fiction and Nonfiction)
• All videocassettes and DVDs (Rental and Nonfiction)
• Magazines (other than the current issue, which cannot be checked out)
• Children's holiday books and some adult holiday books

Newspapers and reference materials never circulate. Items that are not allowed to be checked out are designated in the catalog as "Library Use Only".
