Children’s Programs

Winter/Spring Storytime Programs

Learning to Grow Through Story and Song: Mondays at 10:30 a.m. will focus on children ages 2 to 4.

Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. will focus on children ages 1 to 3.

Storytimes will begin on January 31.

Our story programs now include more music and movement and better tailor the content to different age groups.   While you are free to attend either or both programs, each day’s activities will be tailored to a more specific age group.

These programs will consist of stories, songs, finger plays and action rhymes designed to encourage early literacy. Librarians will present 20 to 30 minutes of stories and songs that will tickle, delight, and amuse. We will incorporate parachute play, bubbles, musical instruments and more! After the program the children are encouraged to play and socialize.

All children attending this program must be accompanied by a parent or other adult who will sit with them and participate in the activities. No registration is required.

Open Play Group.

Friday mornings at 10:30 parents with children ages 6 months to 2 years are invited to come to the library for an open play group. This is a great opportunity for new moms to connect with other families.   Program is ongoing.
