New Museum Pass to Harvard Museum of Natural History

The Friends of the Swampscott Public Library have purchased a new museum pass for the library. It is for the Harvard Museum of Natural History. The pass admits 4 people, with a $2.00 charge per person at the door. Under 3 years of age admitted for free.

Author Visit
In celebration of Older American’s Month local author Elaine Vousboukis will come to the Children’s Room to read from her new book on experiences with senior citizens. The program will be held on Saturday, May 9 at 11:00 a.m. and refreshments will be served. No registration is needed.
Children’s Book Week Program
Join us on Tuesday, May 12 at 3:00 p.m. as we have a special Story-time program celebrating Eric Carle’s 80th birthday as well as the 40th anniversary of his most famous book : The Very Hungry Caterpillar. We will read stories, make a caterpillar craft and send birthday wishes to Eric Carle. Children ages 3 & up are invited. No registration is needed.
