May is Older American’s month, and in honor of that the Children’s Room is holding a contest for children in Grades K to 6. During the month of May we ask you to submit a short poem or story which tells of a wonderful experience you had with a senior citizen, whether it be a relative, neighbor or friend. Entries will be accepted through May 23 and prizes will be awarded at the end of the month. Please bring your entries to the Children’s Room or you may e-mail them to the library at swa@noblenet.org with subject line Writing contest. We look forward to hearing from you.
