Library Closure: Study Spaces
If the library is closed, but the campus remains open during an emergency,
the following locations are available for quiet study:
Heritage Room QUIET Study Space
The Heritage Room, ECC 202, has been set up as a designated quiet study
space. The room houses individual and group study tables, computers,
and lounge chairs. This space is restricted to quiet study, and will
be available during campus center hours.
Hours
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 10:00pm
Saturday and Sunday (Times vary depending on previously-scheduled events
and programs)
Central Campus Mezzanine and Second Floor Hallways
The Central Campus mezzanine and accompanying hallways have been transformed
into a library study area for students who prefer more active, energized,
not-so-quiet surroundings for study and research. It features lounge
chairs, laptop/study tables, and desktop computers networked to a printer,
including a computer on a height-adjustable table for wheelchair access.
Hours (with some exceptions to accommodate previously-scheduled events)
Monday - Thursday 8:00am - Midnight
Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Saturday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Sunday 2:00pm - 11:00pm
South Campus Academic Building Lounge
The South Campus Academic Building Lounge, located in the Academic Building
Basement, has been set up as a designated quiet study space. The room
houses individual and group study tables, computers networked to a printer,
and lounge chairs. This space is restricted to quiet study.

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 10:00pm
Saturday and Sunday (Times vary depending on previously-scheduled events
and programs)
