This “Thanks” screen is Amazon telling you that you have successfully transferred the ebook into your Kindle account, and that the book has been sent to the device, or is ready to be read in the Kindle Cloud Reader or transferred by USB if necessary. You only need to use this if you are trying to transfer your ebook to a Kindle ebook reader that does not have an active WiFi connection.

This is the screen you get after clicking on Get for Kindle on the OverDrive site. You click on the Get Library Book to put the book in your Kindle Library and to send it to your Kindle or a registered Kindle app on a computer or mobile device

If you are not already logged into your Amazon account, you’ll still see the Get for Library button and you’ll get the Amazon login screen when you click on it.

Once you’ve checked out your book, you’ll see a Get for Kindle button for your book.

Click on this to transfer the book from OverDrive to your Amazon Kindle account.

Now you’re ready to check out your book.

You can choose your own loan period and decide if you want the book for 7, 14 or 21 days.

Because of demand, NOBLE limits borrowers to four books at a time. The checkout screen tells you how many books you already have out, and how many more you’ll be able to take after you check this one out.

The next step is to login with your NOBLE library card if you didn’t log in earlier. Be sure to enter the number without spaces.

To use NOBLE’s service, you must be a resident of one of NOBLE’s public library communities, or affiliated with one of NOBLE’s academic libraries. If you get an error message, you can contact your library for assistance.

From here, you can choose Continue Browsing to look for more books, or Proceed to Checkout.
