Rental Collection
The Library maintains a small collection of hardcover, high-demand, fiction titles in the new book section. This collection of "rentals" costs $1.00 for the first week and 25¢/day thereafter to borrow and has no waiting list. All rental fees are used toward the purchase of books for the rental collection. The collection is owned and maintained by the Friends of the Saugus Public Library for the enjoyment of our patrons.
This special collection is for the reader who wants to get the latest books on the shelf and does not want to be placed on waiting lists. The Library strives to keep this collection current and popular.
