Borrower Services
Do you have a Personal Identification Number (PIN) from the Library? Your PIN is a helpful tool that enables you to check your Library record from home, as well as renew your books, place materials on hold, and reserve museum passes.
To get a PIN, stop by the Circulation Desk. The helpful staff there will give you a number that acts as your temporary PIN. From your personal computer at home or any of the public computers here at the Library, you may update your record by accessing "My Account" in the Library catalog. After clicking on "My Account", you will be asked to enter your Library card number and PIN. This will give you access to your Library account, where you can update your personal information, see what books you have on hold, and renew your checked out materials.
Once logged in, you can search the catalog for material that you want and request that it be held for you. Only one request may be placed at a time. You must be viewing the specific item you want held in order for the system to process your request.
PINs are now required to schedule time on the computers in the Reference Room and Young Adult Rooms and to reserve museum passes.
So stop by the Circulation Desk and get your PIN now!
