Welcome to the children's room!

If you haven't met them already, Bethany and Martha are the Saugus Public Library's children's librarians. Bethany, Martha, or another staff member is always available to help you find great books, movies, music, and more. The children's room also hosts a lot of exciting events each month for children from birth through fifth grade. Please drop by or send Bethany an email if you have any questions.

Class Visits and Library Tours

Library tours including computer instruction and/or storytime are available by appointment. The Children's Librarian can also visit your classroom to give instruction on research techniques, storytime, or you may design a visit to meet your needs.

Teachers

• Take advantage of extended loan periods for classroom materials when you check out at the Circulation Desk.
• Call the Children's Desk (for grades K - 5) or the Reference Department (for grades 6 - 12) to reserve books for your class assignments.
• Take advantage of the Online Databases for your classroom assignments.
