Online Databases

Genealogy Resources
Heritage Quest – Use the Salem Public Library Card at home for online access to census data, family records, local histories, tax lists, city directories, land and probate records, birth, marriage, and death records.
Test Preparation
Learning Express Library – The Salem Public Library Card provides online access at home to over 300 online practice exams and quizzes for standardized test preparation (SAT, GED, U.S. Citizenship, TOEFL, and more). In addition, several basic skills products, both online and in print, are available with Spanish translation.
