Salem Public Library is located in the Historic District of Salem, Massachusetts in an 1855 renovated brick mansion originally owned by sea merchant John Bertram. The library is part of the North of Boston Library Exchange (NOBLE), a consortium of 28 public and academic libraries in the surrounding area.

Mango Languages — Mango Languages is an online language-learning system teaching actual conversation skills for a wide variety of languages including Spanish, French, Italian, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, German, Greek, Mandarin Chinese, and several ESL languages. Remote access available for Salem residents.
Ferguson's Career Guidance Center - Provides detailed profiles of more than 3,300 jobs and 94 industries, invaluable advice on career skills, more than 55,000 resource entries from Facts On File.
Download Audiobooks — If you like listening to audiobooks, take a look at this new library service! You can browse through a collection of audiobooks including fiction and nonfiction for adults, teens and children, check them out with your library card, and download them for two weeks. You can listen to the books on your PC, or transfer them to an MP3 player. Some titles can also be burned to a CD. Browse or search our collection, download the special software you need, check out some books, and enjoy listening!
