Summer Reading Program 2017: “Build a Better World!”

This summer, the Library will again be hosting a fabulous lineup of fun, free activities for kids of all ages as part of the Summer Reading Program “Build a Better World!”. Come to the kickoff party on Wednesday afternoon, July 5, from 2:30-4:30 p.m. for music, games, and snacks!

Be sure to check out the schedule, and sign up for any programs that require registration by calling  978-744-9667 or visiting the Children’s Room librarians in person.

    Among the ruins of Angkor Wat, Tiger, Gibbon, Water Buffalo, and Gecko accept Elephant’s challenge to race to a certain temple to settle their argument over who would have made the greatest king, and at the end Elephant explains how the competition showed each one’s strengths and weaknesses. Includes search-and-find illustrations and a brief history of the “City of Temples.”
