Thanks to a generous endowed donation, the OWHL annually receive two passes at the Sustaining membership level to the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art. Each pass conveys free admission to the Met and to the Cloisters museum and gardens for the bearer and up to four guests. In addition, the pass will get you into the Members Dining Room, the Balcony Lounge and give you a 10% discount in the gift shop. Not planning to visit New York? No problem. The best thing about the passes is that under a reciprocal arrangement, you can also use the passes at Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts and thirteen other excellent museums.
Boston’s Museum of Science is a local treasure, with more than 700 interactive exhibits, 100 live animals, the Mugar Omni iMax theater, and the Charles Hayden Planetarium. The beautiful site spans the Charles River, and a trip to the museum is worth it just for the views. The Science Museum has something for all ages. At current prices, it would cost a family of four including two children between 3-11 $86 in admission fees. As a service to the PA community, the OWHL has purchased a block of passes, which we are happy to make available to faculty and staff families. Stop by the Circ Desk for details!
