The OWHL was happy to meet the families of so many of our students this past weekend. Many young scholars brought their family by to see the famous Silent Study, the “enormous” stacks (4 floors!), and, of course, the comfy chair room (also known as the Freeman Room). To help families get to know the library as well as their students do, we put together two scavenger hunts for families: one for “Amateur Detectives” and another for “Serious Searchers.” Loads of Detectives completed the hunt, traversing every floor of the library to find the solutions. Our Serious Searchers were a little less successful. Many of them returned to the desk after a few minutes to ask for the family-friendly version. This got us thinking: could the adult PA community, all long-time visitors of the OWHL, track down the answers to our questions? Test yourself with some sample questions and find out.
Stop by to check your OWHL knowledge! If you get the questions correct, we will give you a prize.
