Please join us on Wednesday, October 21, at 6 p.m., for a NestED talk by Steve Chinosi, the Director of Strategic Innovation at Andover Public Schools and self-described “curriculum deviant.”
Chinosi spoke at a recent Tang Institute Lunch & Discussion event and we are thrilled to welcome him back. Creator of the Innovation Lab and Greengineers program at Newton Public Schools, Chinosi has been an educator since 1997 and is often cited as one of the most creative leaders in high school pedagogy today. He will be discussing his background and work with Newton North High School, MIT, and Andover charter school STEAM.
To learn more about Chinosi’s work, visit The Office of Ingenuity.
NestED, the OWHL Makerspace’s speaker series, invites makers, educators, artists, and innovators to come speak at the Nest, demo their projects, and provide inspiration for all.
Pop Up Nest
As a service to faculty families wanting to attend this Wednesday’s NestED talk, the OWHL will host a Pop Up Nest event! Kids can come to the OWHL for some maker-inspired activities involving Legos, Keva Blocks, and other fun materials. Ages 4 and up are welcome.
All NestED events are free and open to the PA community. Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to attend. For more information, please contact Claudia Wessner at firstname.lastname@example.org
