Please join us on Wednesday, December 9th at 7:00 pm for a NestED talk by Saeed Arida, the Founder and Chief Excitement Officer of NuVu Studio.
NuVu is an innovative school for middle and high school students geared around collaborative, cross-disciplinary projects. Based in Cambridge, NuVu “teach[es] students how to navigate the messiness of the creative process, from inception to completion.” There are no courses, classrooms, or grades.
Arida received his PhD in architecture from MIT, examining the intricacies of the creative process to understand what creativity is and how an educational environment can nurture creative learning. He has previously worked as an architect and a designer. Arida will discuss the value of a creative curriculum, entrepreneurship, and projects students have worked on at NuVu.
