Please join us on Wednesday, February 8th, at 6:30pm for a talk in the Freeman Room by Nadeem Mazen, a Cambridge City Councilor, Phillips Academy alum (’02), founder of danger!awesome, a makerspace in Cambridge, MA.
Mazen received degrees in Biological Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from MIT and has been a leading voice in education and the maker revolution around the world. In 2013, Mazen became the first Muslim City Councilor for Cambridge, MA. In his first two terms, he has worked to make city government more accessible to the public and is building coalitions that address Cambridge’s most pressing issues. He has also focused on social justice issues and greater equity for all members of our community.
No RSVP required. All members of the Phillips Academy community – students, faculty, and staff – are invited to attend.
