Thanks to an Abbot grant, the OWHL is excited to announce its latest project: The Bell Tower: an anthology of student work. The Bell Tower will be a curated collection of exemplary student work produced over the course of a single school year in all disciplines, published in print and online.
We know our students create incredible things while they are here: research papers, artworks, performances, presentations, experiments, solutions, and more. We also recognize that what students may be most proud of might not correlate with their grade or even their favorite subject. We want to celebrate that work and personal growth. The Bell Tower aims to give students the opportunity to share what they feel was their best academic accomplishment with the rest of the community.
Students and faculty are invited to submit what they believe represents the best of student work for consideration. Faculty may submit a work on behalf of a student, and students may submit their own work. The work itself can range from a homework to a midterm to a final. It’s not the weight of the assignment or the grade that matters, but rather what it represents to the student and its place in their academic journey. Work from all grade levels is welcome and encouraged. All formats (documents, videos, audio, etc.) are also welcome.
