Please join us on Wednesday, March 2nd at 7pm in the Nest for a toilet design showcase by Raj Mundra’s Science 435 class!
Over the course of the term, students designed sanitation solutions for a variety of locations and environments, ranging from islands to rural areas. They also had to consider the community that would use the toilet, which could include factors as varied as access to electricity to social norms.
Design thinking and prototyping were essential parts of the project, and we are so excited to share the results! After a brief presentation, attendees will be able to speak with each group, hear the more about the assignment context and design elements, and learn about sanitation.
All members of the Phillips Academy community – students, faculty, and staff – are invited to attend. Snacks will be provided. We hope to see you there!
