In addition to the Oliver Wendell Holmes Library’s robust print holdings, we also have an ever-increasing collection of electronic materials in a variety of formats and media. To make sure that all of our users can take advantage of this content, the library loans out laptops, external drives, MP3 players, Kindles, iPads, and Nooks (and power cords!) to use with these collections.
The OWHL’s extensive collection of ebooks include hundreds of complete reference books and sets. Because we also collect many of these items in print, we have affixed QR codes to the print volumes to direct patrons to the electronic versions. Conversely, many of our electronic resources are listed and directly accessible from our online catalog—from the convenience of a student’s dorm rooms or home—even when the OWHL is not open.
You can also see recommended electronic resources for children and tweens here.
