The OWHL is excited to announce the start of the OWHL Research Scholars Program, a student-driven program where participants can research their passions, discover new interests, and grow their information and digital literacy skills. Students are invited to design a research project of their own on any topic and across all disciplines. With the focus across campus on interdisciplinary learning and student independence, we believe this program will allow students make new connections and delve deeper into a myriad of subjects.
Successful applicants to the program will spend the winter and spring terms as part of a research team with an OWHL librarian before sharing their work at a community event in the spring. Whether the research culminates in a paper, a podcast, a video, or an entirely different format is entirely up the to the student.
Students of all grades are invited to apply to the OWHL Research Scholars Program. Interested applicants should contact Michael Blake at email@example.com for an application.
The brainchild of Piper Winkler, ’17, the OWHL Research Scholars Program was made possible by a grant from the Abbot Academy Association.
