Searching for Books for Kindle
If you’re looking for books that are available in the Kindle format, you have two options — you can use a filter or you can do an advanced search.
Use a Filter
If you use the menu links at the top of the screen to browse the collection, you’ll see filters on the left side of the screen. Under Format, you’ll see an option for Kindle Book with a number that shows how many Kindle books are included in your search results. If you click or tap that link, you’ll only see the Kindle ebooks.
The easiest way to find Kindle books is to use the Advanced Search Screen, where you can choose the Format: Kindle and click the Search button to see all the Kindle ebooks in the collection.
You can also limit to a specific subject or genre, like Business or Mystery, or a general one, like Fiction or Nonfiction. If you’re looking for books for young readers, you can choose Children’s Fiction, Teen Fiction, etc.
There are other options on this screen — you can enter keywords, or the name of an author (under Creator) or look for books that won a particular award. You can use Order to tell the system how to sort your results list. Many people like to sort by Creator to bring books by the same author together.
