In the weeks that follow an event, weekly magazines begin to cover the story: |
| Sources found at this stage in the information cycle are significantly more in-depth. Journalists have had time to gather a lot of information, research the historical context of this event, and reflect on its immediate aftermath. Factual information at this point tends to be more accurate, and there is more in-depth analysis and commentary. | ![]() |
| Remember, however, that information at this point in the cycle is still written by journalists, not scholars, and it is geared toward the general public. Depending on your research question, these may or may not be appropriate for scholarly research. | ![]() |
