FINDING BOOKS AND DVDS
The McQuade Online Catalog is your gateway to finding books (as well as journals and videos). It provides the titles and call numbers of items in the library collection.
You can search the catalog by Keyword, Title, Author, or Subject.
A call number is the address each item is given so you can locate it in the library. The McQuade Library uses the Library of Congress call number system to organize its collection.
Be sure to note the item's call number and location.
Once you find library material(s) you need, go to the circulation desk to check the item(s) out. Our circulation policies are listed here.
Special book collections that may be useful to International students:
- We have many English Language Dictionaries which are located on the first floor in the Reference Room.
- Are you looking for a good read? We have a popular fiction section we call McQuade Library Hot Titles. This collection is on display in the library lobby.
- We have an Educational Resource Collection (also known as ERC) located on the third floor. Here, you will find resources you can use to practice your reading skills.
