Friends of the Lynnfield Library

The Friends of the Lynnfield Library provide the financial support for many programs, services and activities available to library users of all ages and to the wider Lynnfield community. The Friends sponsor the annual Summer Reading Program and other children’s activities, the October book sale and the summer concert series on the Common. They also fund the library video collection, the museum passes, the library volunteer program and the spring and fall morning program series.

For more information about the benefits of a Friends membership, call the library at 781-334-5411.

Visit our new website at www.foll.org to find out more about Friend's activities.

Volunteer Program

Under the guidance of Nancy Ryan, Assistant Director, the library volunteers donate over 2,000 hours each year to organizing the books, magazines and videos that make up our collections. The genealogy volunteers assist patrons in locating books and helping with their research. If you are interested in supporting the activities of the library through volunteering, please call 781-334-5411.

The annual volunteer recognition luncheon, sponsored by the Friends of the Library is held annually in the spring.
