Join Yetti Frenkel on Monday, November 16 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for a haiku and card-making workshop.

Participants create haiku poetry and illustrate their poem in a folding card. One hour is spent on learning the haiku form, exploring simile and metaphor as inspiration for writing poetry, and writing and editing a poem. In the second hour, participants will create a card that illustrates their haiku poem. Ms. Frenkel will cover visual arts topics such as design, illustration techniques and materials.

Kids 12 and up are welcome to attend. No registration is required.
