Who are the Friends?
The Friends of the Lynn Public Library is a non-profit organization formed in 1982 to help preserve and strengthen the libraries in Lynn and to create awareness and appreciation of the many and varied services offered by this registered historic institution.
What do the Friends do?
Educational and cultural programs for adults and children, equipment purchases and fundraising to supplement the Library’s municipal budget are among the activities sponsored by the Friends of the Lynn Public Library.

The Board meets each month and the public is invited. The Board of friends are:

- Treasurer – Paula Joyal
- Members-at-Large – Joan Civiello Fran Hannaway
Benefits of being a Friend
There are many benefits of being a Friend, which include receiving a Friends Newsletter several times a year with information about what is going on at the library including programming, new services, equipment, etc.
