FOCUS: General library information sessions are hands-on, participatory workshops designed to help students:
- Become more familiar with the range and options of information resources in the BHCC library
- Improve on-line book catalog search skills
- Gain skill, speed and confidence in using electronic periodical databases
SPECIAL TOPIC WORKSHOPS: By appointment only, arranged at student's request. Some of the most popular sessions
include:
- Using the Internet and WWW for research
- Evaluating Information Resources
- Magazines and Journals Online and OffLine
- Web-Based E-mail for Storing Information
TIPS:
- Bring suggestions for topics and areas of interest which hold meaning for you.
- It's usually a good idea to sign up ahead of time for a workshop.
