The library staff actively involves itself with college programs and curricula to ensure responsive and innovative participation in academic activities. A faculty liaison program links library staff and resources to college department concerns. Standard and customized course-related workshops emphasizing the goals and objectives of information literacy http://www.noblenet.org/bhcc/instruction.htm are designed in collaboration with faculty and students as needed in support of student academic success.

FACULTY WORKSHOPS AT THE BHCC LIBRARY
Advances in technology continue to impact how we gather, store, access and evaluate information. In response to the needs of the faculty, administrators and staff the library offers a range of workshops throughout the calendar year.
Although the BHCC Library posts a regular schedule of workshops designed to work with the institution's calendar, requests for workshop sessions outside the regular schedule should be submitted at least one week in advance of the planned meeting.
The regular library workshop schedule is:
- Tuesdays: 2:00pm to 3:30pm
- Wednesdays: 12:30pm to 2:00pm, 6:30pm to 8:00pm
- Fridays: 10:00am to 11:30am
Continuing workshop sessions include but are not limited to:
- Finding Your Own Answers Part I: Discover the ins and outs of electronic information access while mastering the basics.
- Finding Your Own Answers Part II:(Plugging into Library Information) Learn how to connect from outside the library, using web e-mail to sort and store information.
- Creating a Research Disk: Learn how to create and use a personal file designed to provide you with a consistent start and stop place as you work your way through the research and development process.
- Information Literacy Assignments: Understanding Information Literacy and how it offers unique opportunities in and out of the classroom using online resource based activities.
- First Search for Global Information Seekers: A resource option for researchers.
- Resources for College Level Research Assignments: Library databases and Internet sites in relation to adult learners.
- The Internet for Educators: Using ERIC, Chronicle of Higher Education, Lexis-Nexis and other on-line services.
- Information Issues in the 21st Century: Considering the virtual library.
- Criminal Justice Education and the Library
- Nurse Education and the Library
- Early Childhood Education(Power Point)

- Curiculum Development Resources for Office Administration
