RESERVE MATERIAL
Books, journal articles, copies of exam keys, and selected material supporting currently taught BHCC classes are kept on reserve at the Lending Services Desk under the last name of the instructor. BHCC catalogs and other materials can also be found among reserve materials. Reserve materials must be used in the library. Don't forget to bring your library card; you'll need it to get the materials you need.
WHAT RESERVE USERS NEED- A current BHCC library card. (Your library card is your BHCC ID with a library barcode on the back.)
- Time. Reserve materials are for in-library use only. If no one is waiting for the item you are using, you may renew it.
- Correct change. Copy machines are available in the library but the front desk does not keep change for the machines. The cost of copies is 10 cents per page.
Please contact Evelyn Hernández at hernandez@noblenet.org to establish your course reserves for each semester. Give the library staff 5-7 days to process your reserve items before informing your students that they are ready for use. You may complete the reserves intake form below prior to your visit to the library. Forms are also available at the Lending Services desk. Complete instructions are available in the reserve memo below.
Please note: There are no continuous reserves for courses or departments. Renewal is not automatic. Items not picked up or renewed will be discarded or absorbed into the library collection. Between week 14 of the current semester, or within three weeks of posting grades, please stop by the Lending Services Desk to remove or renew your reserves.
