READING ENRICHMENT is a special collection in the BHCC library that circulates. While searching for Reading Enrichment books in the BHCC Web Catalog pay attention to the ReadEnr in the call number of the book.

The READING ENRICHMENT section of the collection unites books for general adult reading, adapted classic literature, children's picture books, some educational references. This collection encourages reading as a life long activity. It features books for ESL, developmental education and community outreach programs.

Favorite Poem Project
is composed of many parts some of which include a collection of short video documentaries showcasing individual americans
speaking personally about the poems they love and an anthology with 200 poems along with readers' letters about their attachments to the poems. In addtion there is an interative website and programs through the country in libraries, communities and schools where people of diverse backgrounds gather for readings to share unique, personal treasures: the poems they love.
Reader's Robot reviews of over
4,000 books arranged by subject matter. The reviews center on letting
the user know why the book would interest the reader.
Whichbook.net is an online site that enables the reader to choose books by starting with with him or herself and what she or he desires to read.
Project GUTENBERG aims to make information, books and other materials available
to the general public in forms that most of the computers, programs,
and people can easily read, use, quote and search.
The Great Books Foundation offers people of all ages an exciting way to read and discuss outstanding works of liturature." This non profit organization "publishes reading series for children and adults and conducts training in the shared inquiry method."
