Library & Learning Commons Security
Guidelines:
- The Bunker Hill Community College library director is responsible for the overall security guideline in the BHCC library. The library will prosecute in cases of theft or significant damage.
- It is the library's guideline to take all reasonable measures to protect its collections and equipment from loss or mutilation and to protect its space from unauthorized intrusions.
- The BHCC library staff is committed to the protection of all library materials and equipment. It monitors floor activity during the hours of operation for any misconduct and violation of the library guidelines.
- Staff members agree to support any member of the staff, acting reasonably, to protect the collection, equipment, materials and prevent crime.
- Constructive relationships exist between BHCC security and BHCC
library staff ensuring that the library space is adequately maintained
and security devices are in place and in good working order.
