8:30 to NOON

Today's sessions...

Remember, this is only the beginning. You'll be posting your creations to MetroLINC and continuing to develop what you started here. The Internet is a powerful communication tool. This project will provide you with a lot of opportunity to practice using it as you work together and on your own.

Review your Hotmail web-mail account preferences & options. Make sure you have folders in place to keep your work in an organized, accessible place. Have you written your signature file? Did you establish a group mailing list for your team?

User names and passwords are confidential and confusing. Make a note of the user names and passwords you established for Hotmail, MetroLINC, and the Neighborhood Forum and put the list in a safe place. A couple of weeks away from your computer could cause you to forget.

Questions, concerns, comments, or you just feel like saying hello? The easiest way to reach me is by telephone at (617)228-2213 and by e-mail at smith@noblenet.org or stop by the BHCC Library which is located on the third floor of E building on the Charlestown Campus. I'll also be checking the Neighborhood Communities Forum regularly at http://www.muscella.com/networking/forums.cfm and the e-mail account I created for this project diane_smith16@hotmail.com

Thanks for a great week!
