We're not here to talk about computers and technology. Instead, we'll use our
time to put those chips and bits to work. Let's consider designing coursework
that supports and enhances learning objectives and goals. Today's session
includes consideration of resource based teaching concepts and draws on elements
from web-based learning techniques and the constructivist theory of education.
You will be helping to create your own web file to take with you after
today's session. If you decide to re-work some of your classroom activities to
include online resources, the disk will provide you with a consistent start and
stop place during the research and development process.
The form that
information comes to you in makes a difference in how you relate to and use that
information. I'm supplying you with several versions of this segment of today's
hands-on workshop. This file
is linked to a the handout and simplified template to help you get started.
Here, we'll use the contents to
demonstrate how simple it is (assuming you've already considered current
copyright law and intellectual property rights issues) to borrow material from
