The BHCC Library Staff has identified some useful links to help guide your personal discovery of the Middle East.

Many may disagree about which countries define the Middle East, but generally speaking the area covers about 3,743,000 square miles, with a population of 250 Million. It includes part of northern Africa, southwest Asia, and southeast Europe and is considered to be the birthplace of thee major religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
