Teen Poetry Contest Winners
The Poetry Reading and Awards Ceremony for the Teen Poetry Contest was in full swing a week ago Monday (April 30th). We had a fabulous turnout : 97 guests total, with ALL of our finalists showing up to read their work. VERY exciting!If you haven't already, make sure to take a look at the ranking of the winners. Huge thanks to everyone who helped out and participated, and if you weren't chosen as a finalist or didn't submit any poetry this time around - there's always next year!
I'm hoping to have at least one copy of the program (which includes all of the recognized poems) catalogued and put into our local history room (the Beverly Room) here at the library so anyone who'd like to can take a look.
