Join us for cookie decorating, sock puppet making, food, a movie and fun.
We'll be showing the movie "10 Things I Hate About You" (rated PG-13) and participating in various non-lovey dovey type activities. Socks and other materials will be provided.
11th Annual Teen Poetry Contest!
I'd like to announce Bevery Public Library's
Annual Teen Poetry Contest.
Anyone in grades 6-12 who is either a Beverly resident or attends a Beverly school can participate. There is a limit of three poems per person and all
entries are due by 9pm on Thursday, March 1st.
CASH PRIZES will be awarded in two age categories: grades 6 - 8 and grades 9 - 12.
You can pick up an entry form at the checkout desk at the library or print one out online from the following link:
http://www.noblenet.org/beverly/teenlink/poetrycontest/. Just attach it to your poem and either drop it off or mail it to the library (Beverly Public Library, 32 Essex Street, Beverly MA, 01915). You can also email it to me as a Word attachment at emanning@noblenet.org or send it via the online submission form found at the link above.
