12th Annual Teen Poetry Contest
Open to Beverly Residents and Students Grades
6-12
Cash prizes will be awarded in two age
categories,
grades 6-8 and grades 9-12.
Poems are judged blindly.
Finalists will read their poems
and winners will
receive their awards at the
Awards Ceremony on Monday, April 28 at
7pm.
To qualify for judging:
- You must live in Beverly, MA or attend a school located in Beverly,
MA.
- Entries submitted must be original work.
- Limit of three (3) poems per person.
- Every entry must have a Title.
- Include the title on the entry form and the page with your poem
- Attach EACH POEM to a copy of the entry
form or to a separate page with your name, email address, street address, phone number, school and grade.
- Do NOT place your name anywhere on the same page as your poem
including the back of the poem.
- Deadline for submission: March 3, 2008
