About TeenLink

TeenLink is a place for teens to hang out on the web. There are three goals: to provide information about teen services at the Beverly Public Library, to inform teenagers of resources in the Beverly area, and to provide a collection of cool and useful links on the 'Net'.

TeenLink is a part of the library's effort to provide educational and recreational resources for teenagers in Beverly. It is now divided into sections, including:

Homework Help:a page designed to meet the specific needs of Beverly students. A list of current and upcoming assignment topics in Beverly schools (Olympics, Ancient Egypt, Human Body Systems, Immigrant Groups, Medieval Times, Scientists & Mathematicians, Inventions, Native American Tribes, Planets) contains links to useful resources on the Internet. The Homework Help page also contains links to online reference tools and search engines.

College Info: a great starting point for Beverly students interested in finding the best information on colleges and scholarships on the ‘Net. Online college catalogs, College rankings, scholarship search tools, guides to writing applications and essays, SAT info, and even online FAFSA applications are available from this page.

Health Info: contains hotlines and Internet links for teen health concerns.

The Reading Zone: reading lists, book reviews by Beverly teenagers, online serial fiction by a Beverly teenager!

TeenLink is also a place to have fun. One section is a growing list of area activities for youth in the Beverly area with phone numbers and addresses. There is a page just for games.
